Deeks has joined BrokerLink

We are pleased to announce that effective September 1, 2023, D.L. Deeks Insurance Services Inc. (“Deeks Insurance”) was acquired by Brokerlink Inc. (“BrokerLink”), one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance brokerages, serving a wide range of customers throughout Alberta, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada. As a result, Deeks customers have access to a broader range of insurance coverage and products.

Rest assured, we remain committed to our partnerships with the faith and not-for-profit communities, and we are confident that joining BrokerLink will help us develop these partnerships even further, from coast-to-coast.

What this means for you

No action is required by you at this time. Deeks Insurance professionals will continue to provide you with the service and expertise you’ve come to expect, and your policy documents will continue to be issued by Deeks Insurance.

Please note: As your policy comes up for renewal, coverage under your Unifund Assurance Company (“Unifund”) policy will lapse at 12:01 a.m. on the expiration date notice. As we are no longer representing Unifund*, our expert insurance advisors will place your coverage with one of the insurers we represent that offer unique group programs that align with our affinity partnerships.

For commercial insurance policies:

All life insurance policies purchased through Deeks Insurance are managed out of BrokerLink’s Life & Health office.
